Who we are

What the service collects
Account details include your email, password hash, device and session identifiers, and security logs. When you connect a device, the service receives heart-rate values, timestamps, source information, saved forecasts, event check-ins, and personal fingerprints. Access requests include the name, email, interest, and optional notes you submit. Please do not include health records in general inquiry forms.
Why we use it
We use account and device information to authenticate you, deliver the service, sync readings, generate personal forecasts, process your feedback, send requested notifications, and investigate faults or abuse. Product insights are in development and are not a diagnosis or a guaranteed warning.
Storage and service providers
Readings are stored on your device while waiting to sync and in company-managed account and long-term storage after upload. Hosting, network, and notification providers process information needed to operate the service. Apple handles device notification delivery. Access controls and encrypted connections are used, but no service can promise perfect security.
Anonymized data after cancellation
We may retain and use genuinely anonymized data indefinitely, including after you close your account, to evaluate and improve SilverSteel products. This means data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you. A random account identifier alone does not make health data anonymous. We will not attempt to reidentify anonymized data, and any recipients must maintain those protections. Identifiable or linkable records are not covered by this indefinite-anonymous-retention provision. Once data is genuinely anonymized, we may be unable to locate or remove your individual contribution.
Your account-linked records
Account data currently uses identifiers that can be linked to your account; it is not automatically anonymous. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete server records. We do not currently run an automatic deletion schedule. To request access, correction, account closure, or deletion, email us from your account address. We verify requests and handle them subject to applicable law and legitimate security or legal retention needs. We will explain any records that must remain.
Choices and changes
You can pause Watch monitoring and manage notification permissions in device settings. Essential session storage is described in our cookie and storage notice. New signup records document acceptance of this version. Existing accounts are not assumed to have agreed to new data uses; any materially new use requiring consent needs a separate choice. Applicable privacy rights are not waived by these terms.
Optional Apple Health imports
If you choose to import an Apple Health XML export, the current importer reads it on your device and uploads only supported heart-rate readings and timestamps to reading history and Aztrix training. It does not upload the original XML or other health categories. Complete exports uploaded using the earlier importer remain account-linked records subject to the access and deletion process above. Importing is optional; do not upload another person’s export.
